Before you call
How fast can you replace my water heater?
Usually the same day you call, as long as we hear from you by mid-morning and you have a standard tank. Tankless conversions take a little more planning because of the gas line and venting.
Can you quote it without coming out?
Most of the time, yes. A photo of the label on your current heater and a photo of the space around it tells us the size, fuel type, and what needs to change. You get a real number, not an estimate that grows later.
Should I repair it instead?
If the tank is under about eight years old and the problem is a thermostat, element, or thermocouple, a repair makes sense. If it is leaking from the tank body or past ten years old, replacement is the cheaper path. We will tell you which one you are looking at.
Do you take the old heater away?
Yes. Haul-away and disposal are part of every replacement. You will not be left with a rusty tank on the curb.
Gas or electric, which do you install?
Both. We replace gas, electric, and power-vent units, and we install tankless gas units. If your home has changed and you want to switch fuel type, ask and we will walk you through what that involves.
